Meet Your Missions Team

The Missions Ministry’s goal is to take the Gospel message and the love of Jesus to our community, our state and our world. Their mission statement is Pray. Engage. Give. The Missions Team is made up of Tony Rennie (Chariman), Wendy Page, Janalou Zullo, Karl Shake, and Thurane AungKhin. They are responsible for keeping our congregation connected with the missions organizations and missionaries that we support.

How do we support our missionaries? A portion of the general fund is set as the Missions budget annually. Support checks are sent to the missionaries monthly. A brochure with a list of those missions and their contact information is available on the Welcome Table. In addition, there are food  and water drives, clothing drives, backpack and supplies collections held throughout the year that are delivered to the organizations that we support.

How can you help? There are several ways to help: 1) Pray for a mission each day, 2) Send a message of encouragement to a missionary, 3) Participate in the drives that are held, 4) Visit the organization or missionary’s website to see how to give donations to them directly, and/or, of course, 5) Join the Missions Team.
